Housing

We have a stock of 32 homes – one, two and three bedroom houses – at More’s Meadow where we provide almshouse accommodation for Great Shelford people who are unable to afford commercial rents.

We do not hold a waiting list. When a property becomes available it is advertised within the village. Applicants may then contact our office for an application form.

Applications are assessed anonymously by our Trustees and those shortlisted are invited to attend an informal interview.

We are in the process of building a further 21 new homes; see our plans.

Rentals and property maintenance are managed on our behalf by local agents, Redmayne Arnold & Harris.

The Parochial Charities is a member of the Almshouse Association.
