Case Studies

In 2017 we provided a grant to support 12 young people on a residential visit to the Lake District.

In 2017 we provided a grant to support 12 young people on a residential visit to the Lake District. Led by qualified youth workers from SSYI (the Shelford and Stapleford Youth Initiative) and Romsey Mill, over a 5 day period the kids were provided with opportunities to explore risk, reward and responsibility in a natural environment away from the distractions of modern amenities.

The trip was a big success. Together with other local supporters, Great Shelford Parochial Charities was pleased to help fund this very worthwhile endeavour.
